What is The Treehouse?
We are a "Third Space" designed specifically for families in Bansko. Think of it as a Community Living Room - a shared creative space that acts as a wonderland for kids and a social lounge for parents to connect, relax, or get some work done.
The Resource Library
A massive "Library of Things" you can't fit in a suitcase, full of art supplies, toys, books, and board games.
Facilitated Engagement
Immersive, hands-on workshops like science experiments and art explorations for the kids.
Tracks for each age group
Interest-based time-tracks for different age groups: Social (for the whole family), Explorers (4-10), Teens (12+) and Grown-ups (18+).

Amazing place for families in Bansko!
It's a gathering place for homeschoolers, worldschoolers, visitors and international families in Bansko, the atmosphere is casual and pleasant, kids have amazing time doing all kinds of activities - playing, crafts, toys, books, dancing, socializing, eating together.
The space is perfect for that and is very cozy. Liraz is amazing with the kids and coming up with great activities. Everyone is super nice, we can't wait to go back this summer 🤗

Why we built it
Nomad life is freedom, but it can also be lonely. We built The Treehouse because we lived the struggle of "not fitting in" at coworking spaces and "aging out" of playgrounds.

1. Social (The whole family)
The ultimate "Soft-Landing" in Bansko.
More than just our fully stocked and comfy social space, this is your family’s local support system. Whether you need help finding an apartment, babysitter, or just a friendly face, we connect you into the community instantly.
The Space: A dedicated family hub full of toys, games, art supplies and high-quality resources for intentional family time.
Weekly Traditions: Open House hours, Tuesday Movie Nights, Sunday Hangouts, Day trips, and spontaneous meetups.
Instant Connection: WhatsApp group, our vetted "Bansko Guide." and direct support from us during your time in Bansko.

2. Explorers (Ages 4–10)
Where curiosity turns into creation. Give your child a morning of mission-led discovery while you get a 3-hour window for deep work or free time. Led by our facilitator, Liraz, this is where play meets learning.
Project-Based: For 3 hours, 3 days a week, we facilitate hands-on projects in arts, logic, science and much more.
Earn Your Badges: Every child gets an Explorers Passport to collect badges, and their own explorers kit.
Every Monthly Explorer membership includes Our Social Plan for the whole family!

3. Teens (Ages 12+)
From screen-time to make-time. A specialized Innovation Lab, makerspace and "parent-free" zone. We provide the high-end tools and the guided, safe environment for teens to create, earn real-world skills and make friends.
Makerspace Tools: Hands-on access to 3D printers, electronics & robotics kits, printing studio, and more creation kits that bring any idea to life.
Mentorship: Expert "non-parent" guidance to help troubleshoot complex builds and facilitate events.
Friday Socials: Dedicated afternoon slot to hang out, connect, and have fun in a safe, reach environment.

4. Grown-Ups (18+)
Kid-free connection for the adults. Treat yourself to some grown-up fun. If you can find a babysitter (and we can help with that!), this is your space to unwind, play, and learn with other adults in the community.

Skill-Sharing: Professional workshops and specialized networking events.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages is this for?
Our "Morning Club" facilitated sessions are strictly for ages 4-10, but the Social Club space is open to families of all ages during social hours.
With time (and your feedback), we will expand the library with things that fit your children's age and needs. We can also use the space after hours (19:00-22:00) for events and activities for adults.
Is this a childcare center/drop-off?
No. This is a space for Co-Play, not Childcare. Our Golden Rule is that parents must remain accessible to their children when not in a facilitated activity.
We provide the environment and the resources so you can relax, socialize or work, but you are still the primary responsible adult for your child.
What if I need to work?
Our lounge is designed for "Social Presence”, but You can definitely bring your laptop and work!
We have High-speed WiFi, an area that is made to be more quiet and is suitable for work, and a separate call room.
That being said, we are a social club, not a Coworking space. We recommend to drop by for a tour, spend a couple of hours, and see if it works for you!
