What is The Treehouse?
We are a "Third Space" designed specifically for families in Bansko. Think of it as a Community Living Room - a shared creative space that acts as a wonderland for kids and a social lounge for parents to connect, relax, or get some work done.
The Resource Library
A massive "Library of Things" you can't fit in a suitcase, full of art supplies, toys, books, and board games.
Facilitated Engagement
Immersive, hands-on workshops like science experiments and art explorations for the kids.
Focus Time for Parents
A comfortable lounge where you can actually finish a book or a project while your kids create and play deeply nearby.

The outdoor area is safely fenced off and there is even a little playground. During the week there are various events. Highly recommended!

Why we built it
Nomad life is freedom, but it can also be lonely. We built The Treehouse because we lived the struggle of "not fitting in" at coworking spaces and "aging out" of playgrounds.

Think of this as your "key to the village." For €80/month per family, you get 7-day access to our shared living room, art supplies, kitchen, and community events. It’s the safe, familiar space where every adult knows your child’s name and you find your tribe.

The Treehouse wasn't built by a faceless corporation. It was created and crowdsourced by the very people who wanted needed it most - The Bansko Community.
The founding families and sponsors are nomad, expat and local families who believed in our vision and supported it when it was just an idea.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages is this for?
Our "Morning Club" facilitated sessions are strictly for ages 4-10, but the Social Club space is open to families of all ages during social hours.
With time (and your feedback), we will expand the library with things that fit your children's age and needs. We can also use the space after hours (19:00-22:00) for events and activities for adults.
Is this a childcare center/drop-off?
No. This is a space for Co-Play, not Childcare. Our Golden Rule is that parents must remain accessible to their children when not in a facilitated activity.
We provide the environment and the resources so you can relax, socialize or work, but you are still the primary responsible adult for your child.
What if I need to work?
Our lounge is designed for "Social Presence”, but You can definitely bring your laptop and work!
We have High-speed WiFi, an area that is made to be more quiet and is suitable for work, and a separate call room.
That being said, we are a social club, not a Coworking space. We recommend to drop by for a tour, spend a couple of hours, and see if it works for you!
