Treehouse Community Guidelines & Terms of Service
Welcome to the Tribe! The Treehouse Social Club is a "Third Space" designed specifically for families in Bansko. Think of it as a Community Living Room—a shared creative space that acts as a wonderland for kids and a social lounge for parents to connect, relax, or get some work done. By purchasing a pass, joining our membership, or entering our lounge, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. While this is a legal agreement designed to protect our shared space, it is fundamentally a mutual understanding among friends and neighbors.
1. The "Co-Play" Promise (Nature of Services)We Resource the Play; You Provide the Supervision: We resource the connection; we don't outsource the parenting. The Treehouse is a shared community space, strictly not a childcare center.
Parental Responsibility: Even during our facilitated "Treehouse Explorers" sessions, fees cover the materials and guide time, not custodial care. You remain on-site, but you are free to mentally disengage and focus on yourself. Legally and practically, your child remains under your supervision at all times while on the premises.
Delegated Guardians: If you send a nanny, grandparent, or friend to supervise your child, you accept full legal liability for their actions and the safety of your child. You are responsible for ensuring your delegate understands and adheres to all Treehouse rules.
2. Memberships, Billing, & Strict No-Refund Policy
Final Sale: All purchases, including the €80 monthly Social Club Membership, Visitor Passes, and Treehouse Explorer flex packs, are final sale. Upon membership activation or pass purchase, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Sibling Discount: For families with a consistent routine using our Monthly Explorer add-on, we offer a 20% off discount for the second child.
Visitor Pass Credit: If you decide to join as a member within 7 days of purchasing a Guest Pass, we will deduct the cost of your Guest Pass from your first month's membership.
3. Hours of Operation & Access Rules
Social Hours (Standard Access): Your Social Club Membership provides keyless entry 7 days a week during our designated "social hours". This is general access time to use the shared living room, art supplies, and kitchen.
Facilitated Hours: Our guided Treehouse Explorer workshops take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00.
After Hours & Third-Party Events: The space can also be used after hours (19:00-22:00) for events and activities. Please note that some after-hours events may be paid workshops or gatherings hosted by third parties, not directly by Treehouse, and may require separate registration or fees.
Digital Keys: Your digital access code is exclusively for your immediate family. Sharing your code with non-members is a severe security breach and will result in the immediate termination of your membership without refund.
Unstaffed Access: When utilizing the space during unstaffed hours, you legally agree to securely lock the door behind you upon both entry and exit.
4. Treehouse Explorers & Guest Bookings
Age Restrictions: Our "Morning Club" facilitated sessions are strictly for ages 4-12, though the general Social Club space is open to families of all ages.
Standby Booking Policy: For those using the Flex 6-Pack or requesting a Daily Drop-In, booking opens exactly 24 hours in advance and is strictly subject to availability.
Guest Pass Eligibility: Purchasing a Guest Weekly or Guest Daily pass makes non-members eligible to purchase "Daily Drop-In" facilitated workshops for €30 per session.
5. House Rules & The "Library of Things"
Creation Over Consumption: We focus on sustainable, open-ended toys like engineering blocks and art supplies that build long-term skills. We do not use single-use plastic toys to pacify children.
Screen-Free Zone: We enforce a strict no-screens policy for children in the play areas, with the sole exception of our official weekly movie night.
Leave It Better: You agree to facilitate clean-up with your child before leaving.
Food & Delivery: You are welcome to use our House Kitchen or order delivery! However, delivery drivers cannot enter the space; please meet them outside. Food must be consumed at the dining tables only.
Damage vs. Wear: We happily cover normal wear and tear. However, for destruction or loss caused by negligence, you agree to pay the full replacement cost of the item.
6. Comprehensive Health & Sickness Policy
The 24-Hour Rule: To protect our community, you absolutely may not bring your child (or yourself) into the Treehouse if anyone in your family has experienced a fever, vomiting, persistent cough, or contagious rash in the last 24 hours.
Right of Refusal: We strictly reserve the right to deny entry or mandate that a family leave the premises immediately if we observe active symptoms of illness.
Medical Emergencies: In the rare event of a severe medical emergency where you are incapacitated or cannot be reached, you grant Treehouse Social Club explicit authorization to call 112 or seek emergency medical care for your child at your sole expense.
7. Media & Privacy
Capturing the Vibe: We occasionally take photos and videos of our space to share the magic of The Tribe on our social media and website.
Opt-Out: If you prefer your child not to appear in any marketing materials, it is your responsibility to notify us in writing. We will do our absolute best to honor this; if we ever miss it, simply message us, and we will remove the media immediately.
8. Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
Assumption of Risk: By entering the Treehouse Social Club, you acknowledge and fully assume all risks of personal injury, property damage, or illness arising from the use of our facility, resources, toys, and equipment.
Release of Liability: You unconditionally release Treehouse Social Club, its founders, owners, facilitators, and employees from any and all liability for personal injury, sickness, or property loss occurring on the premises.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Treehouse Social Club against any claims, damages, or legal actions arising directly or indirectly from your family's (or your delegate's) use of the space.
